Central Coast Country Music Festival Fri 12, Sat 13 & Sun 14 March 2010
The Entrance Town Centre Management is proud to present the 2010 Central Coast Country Music Festival. Held annually at The Entrance on the second weekend in March the festival is arguably one of Australia’s biggest with over 45,000 visitors attending over the festival weekend in 2009.
The festival hosts a variety of talented performers at venues in the Wyong Shire and at outdoor stages in The Entrance Town Centre precinct.
2010 will prove to be even better being the events ten year anniversary with over 70 artists performing across the 30 venues. Two exceptionally talented locals will headline the line-up of Australian artists performing at the festival.
Local favourite Beccy Cole will perform a free concert on Saturday 13th March from 4.30pm on the Memorial Park Stage. There’s no disputing that Beccy is the reigning poster girl of Australian Country Music. With seven Golden Guitars on her mantelpiece, together with numerous other major awards she is regarded as one of the most outstanding and dynamic live artists in the Australian music industry.
Another local beloved musician and multi Golden Guitar Award winner Adam Harvey will also perform a free concert on Sunday 14th March from 3.45pm on the Memorial Park Stage. Adam’s recently released album “Both Sides Now” featuring some of Australia’s finest talents debuted inside the Top 20 on the ARIA Top 100 Chart just one week after its release.
For a hint of what’s in store, acts over the weekend in alphabetical order include; Adam Harvey, Amber Lawrence, Beccy Cole, Bella, Bill Chambers, Bruce McCumstie, Catherine Britt, Chicken Train Skifflers, Chris James, Dale Hooper, Daniel Thompson, Garry Lowe, Jonah’s Road, Lucky Starr, McAlister Kemp, Mike Carr, Nicki Gillis, Paul Costa, Pixie Jenkins, Summerland Kings, The Rough Diamonds and Travis Collins.
